VACAT ENERGIA Sp. z o. o. is a special purpose entity of VACAT Group involved in the production of renewable green energy from mixed municipal solid waste through mechanical biological water-based treatment and anaerobic biodegradation.

In cooperation with our partners, VACAT ENERGIA Sp. z o. o. also offers complex photovoltaic systems solutions from design to implementation.

VACAT ENERGIA Sp. z o. o. offers integrated municipal solid waste processing solutions with the unique technology of hydroseparation. The wet method allows the use of 100% of organic waste for energy production purposes through anaerobic digestion and reclaims 85% to 95% of recyclable materials. Anaerobic digestion results in high-quality methane (CH₄) for electricity and heat production and optionally cooling with CHP or CCHP plants. The remaining subscreen mass, without organic compounds, is used for mixtures required to manufacture polymer composites.

According to the studies conducted by independent entities such as Assure, Juniper, Earth Engineering Center of Columbia University or Douglas Partners of Australia, this process was determined to be the most effective and cost-saving MBT method.
